Schlesinger PLLC is a new Minnesota employment rights law firm. David Schlesinger formed Schlesinger PLLC in August 2025 after 20 years of successful practice at a large plaintiffs’ firm. At Schlesinger PLLC, we focus every day on achieving justice in the workplace, one person at a time. Our clients range from executives and professionals for whom we provide sophisticated counsel and negotiation, to whistleblowers and discrimination victims for whom we provide high-quality representation in litigation and at trial.
We seek a law clerk with a strong desire to learn how to provide high-quality representation to employees and victims of civil rights abuses.
Responsibilities:
- Work remotely with occasional in-person meetings at our office in the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis.
- Draft memoranda, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
- Document review and analysis.
- Assist with intake and client meetings.
- Observe and help prepare for depositions and court hearings.
- Review status of employment law developments and prepare summaries and articles related to new legislation and case law.
Requirements:
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interest in employment or civil rights law and a desire to help people.
- Enrolled in law school (ABA accredited) as a 2L or 3L for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Compensation:
$25/hr
Expected Hours:
Approximately 10-15 hours per week.
